All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. 33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. 3 REASONS I HAVE TO BE CONFIDENT AS A WITNESS…

 

  1. I Am Not __________ On The Witness __________.

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. 8 So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God.  2 Timothy 1:7-8 (NIV)

 

And so you will bear testimony to me. 14 But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. 15 For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.  Luke 21:13-15 (NIV)

 

  1. Everyone __________ For What I ________.

God is not a God of confusion but a God of peace.  1 Corinthians 14:33a (NCV)

 

He wants all people to be saved. He wants them to come to know the truth.  1 Timothy 2:4 (NIRV)

5 WAYS TO BE AN EFFECTIVE WITNESS FROM JOHN 9:

 

  1. Simply Tell My ______________.

He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. ONE THING I do know. I was blind but now I see!” John 9:25 (NIV)

 

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.  2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV)

 

  1. Present My ________ As ________________.

His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked, “Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg?” 9 Some claimed that he was. Others said, “No, he only looks like him.” But he himself insisted, “I am the man.” John 9:8-9 (NIV)
