What we believe

GOD

We believe there is one true God that has always been in existence. He is The Lord, Master, and Savior that reigns over the universe. He exists as a Divine and holy trinity known as: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is in these personas that he identifies and connects to us. He is the authentic and original exemplification of love. He sets up times and places for every individual that they may have the opportunity to take part in a personal and eternal relationship with him.

JESUS

Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of God and equal to his Father, and the Holy Spirit. He sits at the right hand of his father, but willingly chose to sacrifice his crown to save a corrupt world that could not save itself. Jesus entered the world through the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary –he was born entirely human, and entirely holy. He came into the world to seek and save the lost and make disciples of all nations. He lived a blameless life, without sin. He was put to death on a cross, and accepted that fate in order for human sin to be forgiven and grace to exist. Jesus rose again three days later defeating death and sin. Because of this we are able to make a choice to have a personal relationship with God and reside in his kingdom on earth, and eternally. After a short time on earth he rejoined the Father in Heaven, and will return again.

HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit is an equal to God the Father and Jesus of Nazareth. He is present in every believer the moment of salvation. He is the link that makes it possible for followers of Christ to understand righteous and biblical truth. He gives us the strength and bold determination it takes to share with others about past hurts that have been healed, and the life transformation that has occurred by accepting Christ as the Ruler of our lives. The Holy Spirit provides each person in the body of Christ with a spiritual gift that can be used to benefit others and deepening their relationship with God. The Holy Spirit molds us into a holy being the more willing we are to surrender to God’s will and purpose for our lives.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR NEW LIFE

We believe God created us in his likeness to be able to have a living relationship with him. We were made to be relational beings, because we were made in His image. Due to human error and rebellion against God we end up separated from Him and hopeless. A relationship with Jesus Christ is our only chance at restoring hope. Salvation—the forgiveness of our sins and deliverance by the power of the Spirit of Christ—is not something that we can accomplish or earn. God gifted it to us freely when he gave his son–Jesus Christ– to die for our sins. The gift of salvation is known as grace, and we receive it when we surrender our lives to Jesus Christ. The biblical prescription for surrendering our lives to Christ is that of Christian baptism - a reenactment of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

THE BIBLE

We believe that the Bible is God’s way of connecting to humanity by revealing his love for us, and his characteristics to us. The bible is authentic, correct, and accurate. We trust and use the bible to determine how we are to live our lives, and what we support and believe in (doctrine). The bible has the final authority when it comes to all of our decision making processes.
