WHAT IS WORSHIP?  WORSHIP = __________________

Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. 2 Here a dinner was given in Jesus’ honor. Martha served, while Lazarus was among those reclining at the table with him. 3 Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped his feet with her hair. WORSHIP = EXPRESSING MY _______ & ________________ TO GOD.

Make it your aim to learn what pleases our Lord. Ephesians 5:10 (VOICE)

The One who sent Me is with Me; He has not abandoned Me because I always do what pleases Him. John 8:29 (VOICE)

And we all who…contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18 (NIV)

• Worshipping like Jesus requires that I know how Jesus worshipped.

• Like Jesus, I can worship by ______________ _____________.

Then Jesus and his disciples sang a song to praise God. Then they went out to the Mount of Olives. Matthew 26:30 (EASY)

He says, “I will announce your name to my brothers and sisters. I will sing your praises among those who worship you.”  Hebrews 2:12 (NIRV)

Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything… Ephesians 5:18-20 (NIV)
