…Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12 Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. 13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. 14 Then we will no longer be immature like children. PREACHING LESSONS FROM JESUS ON TRUTH, ERROR, & ETERNITY:

There are true prophets who present Jesus’ teachings accurately.

There are false prophets who claim to present Jesus’ teachings, but don’t.

I can’t forget that Satan’s plot to destroy me involves _________________.

There are people who sensationally, but falsely, claim Jesus as Lord.

There is a “plain” refutation of their salvation by Jesus.

I can’t be right with God when embracing __________ teachings.

• SALVATION REQUIRES THAT I HAVE AN ________________ FAITH.

The storms of life are indiscriminate.

Obedience doesn’t remove the storm, but helps me endure it.
