Grasping God’s Life Changing Love For Me

Notes Download

Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel2 Timothy 2:8 (NIV)

If Christ hasn’t come back to life, your faith is worthless and sin still has you in its power. But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead1 Corinthians 15:17 (GW/NIV)

By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you.
1 Corinthians 15:2 (NIV)

Gospel means “GOOD NEWS”.

For God so loved the world that He gave His Only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not Perish but have Everlasting Life. John 3:16 (KJV)

GRASPING GOD’S LOVE CAN CHANGE MY LIFE NOW & FOREVER…

  1. WHEN I ACKNOWLEDGE GOD’S GREAT PASSION.

God SO LOVED the world…

God showed how much He loved us by sending His only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through Him.  This is real love…that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. 1 John 4:9-10 (NLT)

See what an incredible quality of love the Father has shown to us, that we would [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God!  1 John 3:1 (AMP)

And I pray that you and all God’s holy people will have the power to understand the greatness of Christ’s love. I pray that you can understand how wide and how long and how high and how deep that love is.  Ephesians 3:18 (ICB)

  1. WHEN I APPRECIATE GOD’S GREAT PRESENT.

that He GAVE His only begotten Son…

Out of sheer generosity God put us in right standing with himself.  A pure gift.  He got us out of the mess we’re in and restored us to where He always wanted us to be.  And He did it by means of Jesus Christ.  God sacrificed Jesus on the altar of the world to clear that world of sin.   Romans 3:24-25a (MSG)

For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NLT)

When we were unable to help ourselves, at the right time, Christ died for us, although we were living against God.  Romans 5:6 (NCV)

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions… 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God Ephesians 2:4-5a, 8 (NIV)

It is clear that God gave those Gentiles the same gift that he gave us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ; who was I, then, to try to stop God!” 18 When they heard this, they stopped their criticism and praised God, saying, “Then God has given to the Gentiles also the opportunity to repent and live!” Acts 11:17-18 (GNT)

  1. WHEN I ACCEPT GOD’S GREAT PROPOSAL.

            that WHOEVER BELIEVES in Him…

God’s grace that can save everyone has ·come [appeared; been revealed].
Titus 2:11 (EXB)

In this new life one’s nationality or race or education or social position is unimportant; such things mean nothing. Whether a person has Christ is what matters, and he is equally available to all. Colossians 3:11 (TLB)

  1. WHEN I ACT ON GOD’S GREAT PROMISE.

should not perish but have EVERLASTING LIFE!

What a God we have! … Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven, and the future starts now! 1 Peter 1:3-4 (MSG)

He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 2 Thessalonians 1:8 (NIV)

“Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.” 37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” 38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.” 40 With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” Acts 2:36-40 (NIV)

Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. 5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. Romans 6:3-5 (NIV)

Open your eyes and see how good God is. Blessed are you who run to him.  Psalm 34:8 (MSG)
